Thus, you will follow the \u201cWorld\u2019s oldest Pipeline\u201d and the old salt trade routes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This track also leads along our hotel. In the Hammerer Spa Gardens right behind our house, you will find the information boards with the first scientific facts about the brine pipeline. This goes parallel to the Rote Traun River behind our house. Find out more about the brine pipeline and how it was built by following the cycling track.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Some ideal spots to take a break and rest can be found in the villages with their Salt Works, such as Traunstein and its famous town square. Maybe you want to stick to the track\u2019s main theme and would like to visit the Salinenkapelle (Salt Work Chapel) or see the Museum of Local History and Toys. Both busses have large trailers for bikes so you can park your car in one of the participating Chiemsee towns and start your Chiemsee round trip.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You can either take the bus whenever you feel like taking a lift or in order to return to your car.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Click here and find out more about the Chiemsee Ring Line<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Take the bike to Chiemsee and return by train.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Starting at our hotel, you take the bike along the Rote Traun River to Siegsdorf and just a bit further towards Traunstein. Then take a left turn towards Vachendorf, where you will have to master the only ascent of around 20m altitude. You can get refreshments at the farmed mountain hut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The trip continues on a narrow path towards Farnbichlalm and soon you\u2019ll reach another forest path leading down to the valley of Farnbichlalm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Take the asphalt road downwards and once in Unterau, follow the next forest path leading up towards the B\u00e4ckeralm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Again, we hike through dense forest, pass the Wiedmais Rescue Hut and the Brenneralm until we reach the B\u00e4ckeralm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We also recommend a break in this pretty mountain hut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Reinvigorated, we tackle the last stage down to the valley where we started in Adlga\u00df.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Total track length: 16km<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Elevation profile: 650m<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We like to call the \u201eSteinecker Rundweg\u201c our \u201cHome Tour for Mountain Bikers\u201d. You can start at our hotel, where the track leads up to the Farnbichleralm, Hubertush\u00fctte towards the Stoi\u00dfer Alm. As this is one of our \u201cbosses\u201d favourite tracks, he will love to give you more information about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The view from Stoi\u00dfer Alm is simply breath taking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Head back via the Adlgass Forester\u2019s Lodge and enjoy the great descent with a slight trial. Then the track is an easy ride through pretty river valleys.
