Bathing at Hammerwirt’s
If the weather is kind, our orchard with its bathing lake is the best place for swimming and relaxing. Here you will find a sunny lawn, swimmer- and kid’s area. Relax after your exhausting hike or biking tour.
But there are more options in close proximity – well-known is the Chiemsee (19 km), Tüttensee (15 km), Thumsee (15 km), Weitsee (22 km) and many outdoor pools in the nearby villages. In Inzell and Ruhpolding, you will find indoor pools with sauna area that are a nice option during winter.
Our basic idea was to create a bathing pleasure without using chlorine or other chemicals. The result is our beautiful bathing lake, harmoniously embedded into the landscape. You will enjoy swimming in its soft, natural water.
Families with kids cherish spending hot days by our bathing lakes and appreciate to cool down after a hiking day or excursions.
Water plants purify the water of our bathing lake, thus creating a natural cleaning cycle. The remaining part of the lake is around 20 x 15 m and up to 2.20m deep, providing a swimming area as well as a shallow area for kids and non-swimmers. In order to protect the planting along the banks, there are three wooden walkways leading into the water. You can also use the non-swimmer’s area to enter the lake.
